Art Immersion Ages 5-10
Service Description
Classes are based on expanding experience in working with all mediums, and stretching our patience. Everyday we work with a different technique or learn a new process like plaster relief, casting negative imprints or our nature treasures in plaster. Mediums include tempera paint, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencils, crayons and oil pastels. Sculpting materials are either air dry clay or paper mache. We study artists throughout art history, learn about basic techniques, and focus on connecting with our emotions through symbolism. Our brain breaks and lunch hours are spent outdoors along the Thiensville Riverwalk exploring the river bank and the critters that call it home. Supplies included, bring a lunch and water. Last day the students exhibit their artwork for families, curating their own art show!
